Sisters children to parade for Halloween

The Sisters Rotary, SOAR and the Sisters Library will hold their annual Halloween Parade on Friday, October 31.

Children ages one to seven will assemble on Friday at the Village Green Park, between Fir and Elm streets.

"Bewitching hour" for the parade is 3:15 p.m.

Trick-or-treaters and their parents are welcome to join the parade through the downtown area of Sisters.

Costumes are required to participate.

All participants are asked to bring one canned food item to support the Sisters Kiwanis Food Bank.

All participants must pre-register and sign a release form. Forms are available at the Sisters Library and at SOAR. For more information, call the library at 312-1070 or SOAR at 549-2091.

The library's weekly Preschool Parade program will also feature a Halloween theme.

"Halloween Howls" takes place on Thursday, October 30 at 10:30 a.m.

The Sisters Public Library is located at 291 E. Main Ave.
