Sisters sheriff's calls

  • A man was hit by a passing car as he stood at the scene of a car wreck.

    He suffered minor injury to his leg.

  • A woman reported that several of her sandwich board signs had been stolen off the highway.

    Actually, they were picked up by ODOT because they were in the highway right-of-way.

  • A man was arrested for drunk driving after hitting two cars in the area of Hood Avenue and Ash Street.
  • A deputy responded to an argument that had degenerated into a pushing match.

    One of the parties was gone and the other didn't want to press any charges.

    There was no serious physical altercation.

  • A deputy caught a man sneaking through the window of an apartment.

    Turns out the man lived there -- he was trying to avoid disturbing his roommmates.

    The roommmates confirmed that this is his usual method of entry.
