Sisters sheriff's calls

  • A deputy arrested a man on felony warrants after a traffic stop.
  • In an unrelated episode, a deputy arrested a Sisters man on multiple warrants after the man was spotted in the area.
  • A driver earned a citation for failure to yield after a crash at a Sisters intersection.
  • A man reported being in a building when a door closed by itself.

    A deputy checked the building and it was secure.

    There was no report as to whether Ghostbusters was summoned to the scene.

  • A man driving an Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife truck rolled it on ice on Forest Road 14 west of Sisters.

    He was not hurt.

  • Some subcontractors have reported the theft of tools and materials from a construction site in Sisters.
  • A deputy cited a Sisters High School student for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
  • A Bend woman got her Jeep stuck in the snow and spent the night in the vehicle.

    When deputies contacted her, they reported that she was very disoriented and thought she was in Portland.

    A deputy arranged a tow and the woman's roommate was summoned to pick her up at City Hall.

    The woman was also cited for driving on a suspended license.

  • A deputy cited a Eugene woman for third degree theft involving a clothing store in Sisters.

  • An officer warned a driver he saw weaving across the fog line three times.
  • An officer assisted deputies in searching for a reportedly suicidal subject whom they were unable to locate.
  • An officer assisted with getting a stranded motorist's vehicle back onto the highway.
  • An officer interviewed several juveniles regarding slashed tires, a kicked-in tail light and a broken light on a gate arm.

    The juveniles will be contacted later regarding charges.
