Veterans to host Memorial Day service

Sisters' American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Posts will hold their 12th annual Memorial Day Service at Camp Polk Cemetery on Monday, May 31, at 11:15 a.m.

Transportation will be provided by SOAR, with buses leaving Sisters Elementary School from 10:15 to 11 a.m. There is no parking at the cemetery.

The Crook County Naval Junior ROTC will perform, and Sid Carter, Crook County Veterans Service Officer, will be the speaker.

There will also be a fly-over by U.S. Air Force jets stationed at Kingsley AFB.
