Sisters sheriff's calls

    Deputies were unable to locate the man the woman described.

  • A woman reported that someone drove by and threw firecrackers into her corral, spooking her horse.
  • A driver complained about erratic driving from another motorist.

    The erratic driver was found slumped over the wheel of his car at a gas station.

    He was found to have a blood-alcohol count of .16 when he was arrested for drunk driving.

  • A deputy chased a couple of Black Angus cows out of the middle of Highway 20 and into pasture.

Black Butte Ranch

  • An officer detained a shoplifting suspect who had fled from the grocery store in Sisters where he allegedly committed his crime, then turned the case over to the sheriff's office.
  • An officer arrested a man on a Jefferson county warrant after a traffic stop.
