This is the fourth year the group of 10 women has been together and the fourth quilt they have offered.

Proceeds help support Sisters High School art students and Art Guild projects at the Ranch.

This year, three $1,000 art scholarships were awarded to local senior art students Laura Campbell, Amy Lange and Rosita Rerat (see The Nugget, June 16).

Proceeds also fund artworks placed in public places at BBR.

The raffle quilt is 66-by-84-inches in size and may be viewed in the Lodge opposite the main desk. The winner will be drawn at the weekend event and need not be present to win.

There will also be other quilts and art materials offered in silent auctions during the Art at the Ranch weekend. A tent will be set up on the grass next to the Recreation Barn for the free weekend events that run from 4-7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Contact Marti Kufchak at 595-1100 for information or purchase of raffle tickets. Quilt raffle tickets, which cost $5 each or five for $20, are also available at the BBR Lodge (595-6211) or from members of the quilting group.
