Sisters sheriff's calls

  • The manager of a mobile home park reported that two boys had been caught shooting windows with a BB gun.

    The manager had reached a civil resolution in the matter.

  • In a separate incident, a deputy chided two youths for shooting a BB gun and a pellet gun in their yard, hitting a neighbor's shop.

    It looks like dad is going to take away someone's BB gun.

  • A citizen found and turned in a cigarette case containing a small amount of marijuana.
  • A citizen reported two young men drinking and shooting "an arsenal of guns" near Sizemore Road.

    The citizen contacted the young men, who left the area.

  • A deputy contacted a man who was reported to have been speeding near Sisters Elementary School.

    The man allowed as how he was showing off his new pick-up truck to a friend and would slow down in the future.

    Black Butte Ranch Police

  • An officer assisted Oregon State Police with a car vs. truck wreck on Santiam Pass. An officer later assisted OSP with a reported hit-and-run injury accident on the highway.
  • A BBR officer helped a motorist who had struck a deer and damaged her car.
  • There was an anonymous tip that some nefarious fisherman was using bait in Phalathrope Lake. Officers were unable to track down the miscreant.
