Sisters sheriff's calls

• A Sisters resident consulted with a deputy regarding an ongoing neighborhood dispute.
• A deputy met with Sisters fire personnel to discuss filling out citations for illegal burning.

  The fire district is going to start citing people for illegal burns.

• A resident reported the theft of a Honda motorcycle.
• A 26-year-old man stopped by the sheriff's office to find out if he had a warrant out on him.

  He did.

  He was arrested.

• Deputies arrested a Sisters youth for unauthorized use of a vehicle.
• Deputies put down several injured deer on the roadways.
• A deputy talked to a resident about his dog because neighbors are afraid it will get loose and attack kids coming off a school bus.
• A horse fell out of a four-horse trailer on Highway 242 and had to be put down due to severe injuries.

  A backhoe was summoned to move it off the roadway until a tallow company could come and remove the carcass.

• A driver rolled a vehicle on an icy Holmes Road.

  Another rollover was reported on Buffalo Drive near Wilt Road.

• A contractor reported the theft of some construction materials.

Black Butte Ranch Police

• Police investigated an attempted burglary of a shed. Nothing was taken.
• There was also an attempted burglary at the pump room at Glaze Meadow Pool.
