Booher concert will aid orphanage

The Booher Brothers (also known as the Diamond B Wranglers) will host a tsunami relief benefit concert at Sisters Middle School on Friday, February 25

The benefit will aid reconstruction efforts at Samaritan Children’s Home in Sri Lanka. The orphanage run by Dayalan Sanders was destroyed in the December 26 tsunami, but all 28 children there were saved.

Sanders, an American of Sri Lankan descent, has vowed to rebuild the orphanage. Sisters raised more than $7,500 for the effort (see “Sisters comes through for orphanage,” The Nugget, February 9, page 3).

The Booher Brothers concert starts at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets will be sold at Leavitt’s Western Wear and at the door, for $15 per seat.
