News and Opinion from Sisters, Oregon
The Pine Needlers’ annual winter quilt show offers a double opportunity to battle winter blahs on Sunday, February 20.
Besides the colorful, lovely quilts, this year’s show offers many folks a first chance to see the refurbished Camp Sherman Community Hall.
The historic hall is always a wonderful venue for viewing the many quilts and meeting old friends. The new floor, decorative lighting and new heating system make it better still.
Along with the quilts, other festive items will be on display on the main floor as well as in the attic. Food and entertainment will be provided by the Pine Nuts during the 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. show.
The group’s famous potholders will once again be available and raffle tickets will be sold on the Pine Needlers’ raffle quilt, “Cheesy Pin.”
The Camp Sherman Community Hall is located on Road 1419 in Camp Sherman next to the fire station.
Suggested donation for the show is $2. Call 595-5256 for information.
