Sisters sheriff’s calls...

• A man reported continuing problems with somebody throwing rocks at his dog. He thinks he has identified a suspect: a guy who was giving him dirty looks.

A deputy told the man he needed more to go on than that.

• A woman reported a child missing after a miscommunication about school bus schedules. A deputy counseled the youth.

• A citizen reported a vehicle driving recklessly near a school.

• Deputies arrested a man on an out-of-county warrant.

• A deputy picked up a desk found in the middle of a road and took it to the station.

• A tractor-trailer jacknifed on Highway 20 and spilled fuel (see story, current news).

Butte Ranch Police

• An officer assisted with a non-injury, two-vehicle wreck on the icy highway on Sunday.

• Officers cleared a landing zone for an Air Life response to the Ranch.

• A 65-year-old man slipped on ice and fell, striking the back of his head. He was transported to the hospital, but he has been released and is at home and doing well.
