Students from the Heart of Oregon cut 32 16-inch-diameter MDF particle board for clock faces that have been artistically embellished by Sisters area artists. Mechanical inspiration was provided by Ed and Kathi Beacham, owners of Beacham’s Clock Company of Sisters, who guided the artists and inspired them to create working clocks of all shapes and sizes.
All funds raised from the sale of the clocks will be donated to the My Own Two Hands Fundraising efforts to promote art and music education in the Sisterscommunity.
The My Own Two Hands, Make Time Art Events will continue next month.
On April 8 there will be a Sisters Community Art Stroll and Bronco Billy’s Benefit Chili Feed and on April 9 Ponderosa Forge & Ironworks will host an art party and auction.
