Local representatives to meet in Sisters

Senator Ben Westlund will be joined by State Representatives Gene Whisnant and Chuck Burley to meet with constituents in Sisters at a town hall meeting scheduled for Saturday, March 19 at 5 p.m.

The meeting will be held at the Best Western Ponderosa Lodge meeting room at 500 Hwy. 20 West.

The event is open to the public and people are encouraged to attend this opportunity to address their legislators.

The agenda includes an update on how the legislative session is progressing, but is also intended to gather public input.

Saturday’s meeting in Sisters completes a full day of visits for the state legislators who will also meet in La Pine, Sunriver, Bend and Redmond before coming to Sisters.

Those who wish to bring written statements should bring a copy for each legislator. Constituents can also contact the legislators at their Salem offices at any time.
