Martin ‘Marty’ Hayden June 6, 1966 - March 19, 2005

Marty Hayden of Sisters died on March 19 of a brain aneurism. He was 38.

He was born in Lebanon, Oregon. His parents are Jim and Mary Hayden and Bonnie Jacobs-Halousek and Neal Halousek.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, at Eagle Crest Conference Center west of Redmond.

The self-employed retailer spent two years in college and four years in the military. He enjoyed spending time with his family, mountain biking, skiing, kayaking, camping and home improvement projects.

His family noted that “Marty was a devoted father, truly dedicated to his children. Their happiness and well-being were his first priorities. He was a loving son and brother.

“Marty always had a smile on his face and was quick to bring a smile to everyone else.”

He is survived by his parents; son Jacob Michael Turpin of Redmond; daughters Jordyn Renee Hayden, 11, Jaeda Rae Hayden, 6, and Jyllian Rose Hayden, 4, of Redmond; brother Jayel Hayden of Redmond; sisters Cara Hudson of Sisters and Catherine Hayden of Eugene; grandparents James Hayden of Redmond and Faye Lyle Jacobs of Sisters.
