Tickets available for ‘Make Time’ event

Organizers of this year’s “My Own Two Hands” winter fund-raiser for the Americana Project are asking people in Sisters to “Make Time.”

Artists and craftsmen made time by creating a clock-based piece of art for the auction; musicians are making time to play some music during the art stroll on April 8.

Now they are asking Sisters residents to “Make Time” to attend the art stroll on April 8 and the art auction on April 9 and see what the artists in Sisters have made time to create.

My Own Two Hands, “Make Time” the Americana Art Project 2005 tickets are available now.

Tickets for the Benefit Chili Feed and Performance Evening Friday, April 8, are $10 each ($5 for children 12 and under) and can be purchased at Paulina Springs Books and Sisters Feed & Supply in Sisters.

Tickets for the Art Party and Auction, Saturday April 9, must be purchased in advance and are available by calling the Sisters Folk Festival Office at549-4979.

Patrons may enjoy music and art during the around-town stroll, then head on over to Bronco Billy’s Ranch Grill and Saloon for chili. For more information visit www.sistersarts.org.
