Peggy Parker of Sisters died on Saturday, April 2, of natural causes. She was 59. Services were held on Friday, April 8, in Bend.

Peggy Parker was born on July 9, 1945, to Lloyd and Betty (Wilson) Milton, in Norfolk, Virginia. She worked as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration until 1999.

She was affiliated with the Bend Church of the Nazarene. She volunteered with St. Charles Medical Center’s Side-by-Side group and with Sisters Starry Nights. She provided respite care for Alzheimer’s patients. She belonged to the Central Oregon Llama Organization and several numismatic clubs in San Diego, California.

She enjoyed shopping, coin collecting, quilting and helping others. She is survived by her husband James Parker of Sisters; daughter Nicole Bankhead of San Diego, California; and four grandchildren.
