Entry forms for the 2005 Sisters Rodeo Parade are now available.
The parade will be held on Saturday, June 11 starting at 9:30 a.m. in downtown Sisters as part of the 65th Sisters PRCA Rodeo.
Entry deadline is May 13 with parade position numbers to be sent out after that date, according to Parade Committee members Vicki Yost and Jeri Buckmann.
Forms may be picked up at the Sisters Rodeo office at 220 W. Cascade Ave. in Sisters, or by calling the rodeo office at 549-0121 or (800) 827-7522.
The entry form includes general rules for parade participants, a map of the route, where to obtain information on overnight accommodations, and boarding facilities for animals.
“The parade is a highlight of the Sisters Rodeo weekend and features rodeo queens, marching bands, floats, equestrian groups, cowboys and cowgirls of all ages,” Buckmann said.
Judging will start at 8:30 a.m. on parade day with trophies and ribbons to be awarded for both adult and youth groups. Information for visiting rodeo courts and advisors is also available at the rodeo office for both the parade and the grand entry during the four rodeo performances.
The 65th Sisters PRCA Rodeo will feature four performances on June 10-12. Tickets may be purchased at the rodeo office at 220 W. Cascade Ave. in Sisters or by calling 549-0121 in Central Oregon or (800) 827-7522 out of the area.
