Jerry Kent Bouey — July 21, 1947 - April 30, 2005

Jerry Kent Bouey, 57, a resident of Woodland Hills, California, and a part-time Sisters resident, died on April 30, of a heart condition.

Jerry was raised in Southern California. He attended Van Nuys High School.

He served in Naval Intelligence during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with family.

He was looking forward to making Central Oregon his permanent home.

He was a real estate broker in his own office in California and was affiliated with Coldwell Banker Reed Bros. Realty in Sisters.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Jerry is survived by his wife Caroline of Woodland Hills; his mother Maggie Bull of Sisters; and two brothers, Forrest Smith of Sisters and David Smith of Redmond. Also surviving is his “special cousin,” Sande Burgess, of Sisters; “pretend sister” Cindi Richartz of Sisters; and good friend and father-figure Reed McShane.
