Sisters sheriff’s calls...

• A deputy arrested a transient in connection with a suspicious fire off Highway 20.

• A deputy responded to a report of two juveniles walking around with a handgun. They had been target shooting with a BB pistol.

• A woman asked a deputy to document the fact that an irrigation ditch culvert on her property was plugged and water was flooding her property. She didn’t want to be suspected of stealing water.

• Deputies arrested two men for mail tampering all over the area.

• Someone stole $20 from a student’s belongings at Sisters High School.

• Three juveniles were cited for forgery.

• A man and a woman were arrested for shoplifting shoe inserts and Kool-Aid®. They must have been overwhelmed by temptation, poor soles.

Black Butte Ranch Police

• An officer tried unsuccessfully to track down a small white car that was blasting down the highway and passing on the double yellow.

• A man turned in a money clip filled with cash and credit cards. BBR police contacted the owner.

• An officer cited a man for careless driving (without a license) after the man fell asleep and nearly collided head-on with oncoming traffic.
