News and Opinion from Sisters, Oregon
Sisters defeated the Huskies 3-1 in softball at North Marions Wednesday, May 11.
Sammy Stoneback pitched a one-hitter.
“The only ball to leave the infield was a single in the fourth inning,” said Coach Doug McDonald. “Sam found her change-up and that was the key to keeping North Marion totally off balance. It was a phenomenal effort.”
The Outlaws had 10 hits as a team with multiple hits from Katie Hughes and Courtney Overstreet. Hughes was 2-3 and Overstreet was 2-4 with two RBI.
The following day Sisters lost 10-0 to Cascade in six innings.
The team is in fifth place.
