Little competes at state

Senior Scott Little was the lone representative for the boys Outlaws golf team at the State Championships this year, which were held at Eagle Ridge on Monday and Tuesday, May 16-17.

Little played steady golf both days earning a two-day total of 163. Scott scored an 83 on day one and bettered his score by three strokes on day two with an 80.

Little finished 19th out of 75 golfers.

Jesse Schuette of Siuslaw High School was the medalist for the tournament with a two-day total of 139.

Siuslaw took first place (629), Taft second (635), Marist third (638), Seaside fourth (644), and Ontario placed fifth (661).
