X-Press Printing will be closed on Friday, July 29, as the business moves into its spacious new digs on Hood Avenue near Pine Meadow Village.
• The Sisters Bead Stampede is set for August 6-7 at the Village Green Park. The show, sponsored by the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce, features handmade beaded jewelry and buttons from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Tony Lompa will be playing at Lake Creek Lodge Wednesday, July 27, at 7:30 p.m.
• Sisters Folk Festival favorite Johnsmith is set to perform at Sisters Athletic Club Thursday, July 28 at 7 p.m. Dennis McGregor will open the show.
• The pottery of Annie Dyer is being featured at Canyon Creek Pottery open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.
• Craig Marguardo will perform live at Coyote Creek Café on Friday, July 29. The show starts at 8 p.m. in the lounge.
• Susan’s Cleaners has contracted with Ford Cleaners in Redmond to do dry cleaning and shirt laundry.
• Paulina Springs Books will host an author signing on Friday, July 29, with William Florence, reporter, editor and journalism professor in Salem.
Florence writes novels, based upon his extensive study of the history and lore of the West. In his search for authenticity, he has become an expert on firearms of the Old West.
He will read from his latest novel, “Trail of Revenge,” at 6:30 p.m.
On Saturday, July 30, retired journalism professor Ron Lovell reads from the latest in his Thomas Martindale Mystery series, “Murder Below Zero.”
