Bead Stampede hits Village Green

Hordes of avid bead collectors and jewelry makers are expected to stampede to the Sisters Village Green this weekend for the second annual Sisters Bead Stampede.

The event is scheduled Saturday and Sunday August 6 and 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Vendors will sell a wide variety of beads. Visitors will find one-of-a-kind handmade beads, buttons, antique beads or trade beads.

Admission is free.
