Sisters youths saw a summer of hard work pay off at the Deschutes County Fair’s Horse Fair held July 21-24.
Sisters Community Critters reported multiple ribbons in a variety of events:
• Aubyn Geser, senior, 15: Showmanship — red; English Equitation — blue; Cow Working — blue; Ranch Horse Pattern — blue; Ranchmanship — blue. Number 10 placement in the top ten for Senior Ranch Horse.
• Shelby Ross, intermediate, 14: Showmanship — blue; English Equitation — blue; Western Equitation — blue, Intermediate Champion Trail — red; Ranch Horse Patten — blue; Ranchmanship — blue; Intermediate High Point State Qualifier.
Hayden Wester, junior, 12: Dressage — blue, Junior Champion; Showmanship — red; English Equitation — blue, Junior Reserve Champion; Western Equitation — blue; Trail — red; Ranch Horse pattern — red; Cow Working — white; Roping — red; Ranchmanship — red; Number 4 placement in the Top Ten Juniors.
Jessica Wester, junior, 10: Showmanship — red; English Equitation — white; Beginning Jumping — red; Western Equitation — red; Trail — red; Barrels — blue; Pole Bending — blue; Flag Race — blue; Keyhole Race — blue.
