• A citizen complained about a road rage incident in which the other party was driving badly and then got out of his car to confront him. The incident seemed to have resolved itself.
• In a separate incident, a deputy counseled two drivers involved in a road rage incident and both agreed that they wanted to drop the whole thing.
• There was a reported theft of cash from the manager’s office at a Sisters business.
• A deputy arrested an 18-year-old Sisters man for drunk driving.
• A citizen requested extra patrol due to extensive ATV activity off Harrington Loop.
• A woman reported that she lost her purse at the laundromat.
• A man turned in a wallet containing a large amount of cash.
• Deputies sought a male in his 20s for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
• In a separate incident, a deputy looked into a report of someone prowling around cars in Tollgate.
Black Butte Ranch Police
• An officer arrested a 46-year-old man for a probation violation. Also driving while suspended. Also resisting arrest.
• An officer assisted the victim of a fall on horseback.
• An officer evicted an unwanted cat from a home.
• An officer cited a man doing 89 in a 55-miles-per-hour zone at night. The man got very upset because he said he was a former Arizona Highway Patrol Officer and should be let off with a warning.
The officer told him that, as an ex-law enforcement officer, he should know that such speeds on a dark highway are unsafe.
The citation stands.
