Marguerite Doris Bouchie

Marguerite Doris Bouchie of Bend died on Wednesday, August 17, of natural causes. She was 96.

Services will be held on Friday, September 2, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Edward the Martyr Catholic Church in Sisters.

Mrs. Bouchie was born October 2, 1908, in Keene, New Hampshire, to William and Olive Martin. She attended St. Joseph Catholic High School. She married Edward Bouchie on September 10, 1928, in Keene.

She worked as a shoe factory supervisor and a prep cook at Black Butte Ranch. She retired in 1985.

She enjoyed crocheting, game shows, cooking and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Nancy Seaver; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, six brothers and a sister.
