• Several youths were caught trespassing in the pool at Pine Meadow Ranch.
• A man complained about gunshots, possibly some that hit his house, that he believes came from a .22 rifle.
• A shopper set her fanny pack down in a store and someone apparently stole it. Credit cards, checkbook, cell phone — all gone.
• A Sisters child apparently snuck out of the house while his mom was sleeping and went to the store for some candy. A deputy escorted him back home — without any.
• Deputies investigated a reported road rage incident in which one of the parties allegedly displayed a weapon.
Black Butte Ranch Police
• An officer stopped and warned a motorist about an improperly secured toddler.
• An officer tracked down a driver who broke a security gate arm driving under it following her husband through. That’s a no-no. One car only.
• An “extremely lost” visitor got help finding his destination.
• An officer removed a board that had been laid down to prevent spike strips from laying down at a gate. Not nice.
• An officer contacted a man about his vehicles being parked in a common area and his empty beer cans being in his neighbor’s yard. After “a short and to-the-point” conversation, the man agreed to move his cars, pick up his empties and apologize to his neighbor.
