Travis J. Elpi

Travis J. Elpi of Sisters died on Tuesday, November 8. He was 26.

Travis was born and raised in Sisters. Over the years he enjoyed and excelled at many creative and constructive activities, including ceramics, music, snowboarding, flyfishing, rock climbing and woodworking. He was well-known and greatly loved by many members of the community, who note that they will carry him in their heart always.

Travis is survived by his parents, David and Kathleen Elpi of Sisters; his sister Michelle Elpi-Trainor of Bend; his grandfather John D. Elpi, Jr.; aunts, uncles and cousins of Granby, Connecticut; an uncle Douglas Perrin and cousins of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 20, at the Pioneer Cemetery in Terrebonne, followed by a gathering at Angeline’s Bakery and Café in Sisters at 3 p.m.
