News and Opinion from Sisters, Oregon
Twelve entrepreneurs from Sisters and the surrounding communities successfully completed 12 weeks of intensive training and technical assistance offered through the state-subsidized Central Oregon Microenterprise Program.
The program helped participants grow their hobby or existing business into viable enterprises. Graduates included a contractor, clothing designer, photographers, artists, healing arts practitioners and toy crafters.
The program continues in Sisters with an ongoing monthly peer support group and mentors. To learn more about the Microenterprise Program starting in December, contact Allan Flood, Bend Community Action Team Advocate at 330-5980 for current and future programs.
