Local wrestlers win two meets

Local club wrestlers won two tournaments last week.

Joshua O’Brien took gold in a barn-burner of a contest at Mountain View High School on December 10. The following Saturday, the USA Wrestling squad traveled to Cottage Grove where O’Brien pinned all three of his opponents in the first round on his way to another gold.

O’Brien has compiled an 11-1 record so far in the club wrestling season.

The wrestlers will hit the mats again on January 7, 2006.
