Lyle Lovett concert date set

The Sisters Starry Nights Benefit Concert Series will kick off with a performance by renowned singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett on Saturday, February 25. The final show will be a double bill featuring past Starry Nights favorites Leslie Satcher and Hanna-McEuen on Saturday, April 22. The shows will take place at the Sisters High School auditorium.

“We’ve been waiting for over two months to get the final date for Lyle Lovett’s show,” said event Co-Chair Jeri Fouts. “He is busy putting together tour dates starting in January, and we are very fortunate that he was able to keep February 25 open for his benefit performance in Sisters.”

Headliners for Starry Nights donate their time to raise funds for the Sisters Schools Foundation. After last year’s series, the Starry Nights surpassed the $500,000 mark in net revenues since its inception in 1997. Among the past performers who have participated in Starry Nights are such artists as Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Lee Ann Womack, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Kim Carnes, Kathy Mattea, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John Hiatt, Suzy Bogguss and Carolyn Dawn Johnson.
