Sisters business at a glance

• Folk Arts & Co. will host its big annual pottery and art sale on February 17-20.

The gallery will be closed Tuesday and Wednesdays through March 7.

• A Joyful Noise Learning Center will be closed Monday, February 20, in observance of President’s Day.

• The Barclay Gallery is offering a series of classes focusing on the art of book making.

All the classes will be taught by Bend artist Sondra Holtsman and will be held in the large studio space upstairs in the new Sisters Art Works building.

Class are $35 each plus supplies and are limited to 15 people, so sign up early. You can register for one or all class by calling Sandy at 549-1050.

• Leavitt’s will host its 30th anniversary sale February 18-22.

• Doug Ribeca of Zadow Physical Therapy has attained his doctorate of physical therapy.

• Out West Designs will be featuring its scent chips at the Taste of Home display at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds in Redmond on Tuesday, February 21.
