Eighth grade basketball team goes undefeated

The Sisters Outlaws eighth grade basketball team put up a perfect 10-0 record this season.

Coaches Glen Herron and Wayne Mitchell agreed that the key to the team’s success is their coachability and the fact that “they love to play the game of basketball.”

The team had both height and speed, which gave them a distinct advantage on the court. The team had exceptional cohesion since most of the players have played together for years in the SOAR program.

The success of the team bodes well for the future of Outlaws basketball as these players head to high school.
