Sisters High School launches fund-raiser

The Sisters High School Class of 2006 Graduation Celebration Committee has launched its “Butter Braids” fund-raiser.

A “Butter Braid” is a hand-braided pastry with layers of real butter, filled with a delicious variety of fruit filling. The 22-ounce loaf comes frozen and when baked produces a homemade tasting breakfast entree or dessert.

A nine-count box of caramel rolls is also available. Each item sells for $10 or three for $27.

The school is also selling “Windmolen Twists,” which come in seven fillings (five sweet and two meat and cheese). These are handmade frozen dough twists, 16 to a box, and sell for $13 per box.

The third product for sale is Boyd’s Coffee from Portland (12 oz. bag). They offer six aromatic gourmet varieties. These products sell for $11.

Proceeds from the fund-raiser help fund organized graduation night celebrations.

Orders will be taken until March 18. The delivery date is April 3. For more information contact Suzanne Lind at the high school, 549-4045.
