Chamber seeks banner sponsorships

The Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce plans to install “Welcome to Sisters” banners on the downtown lightpoles and the organization is looking for business sponsors.

“In addition to beautifying the downtown area of Sisters, the light pole banners will serve as an additional promotional option for local businesses,” said Chamber Executive Director Cheryl Mills. “The Welcome to Sisters light pole banners will be displayed year-round with the exception of special events (My Own Two Hands, Sisters Rodeo, Sisters Quilt Show and September in Sisters) and during the Christmas holiday season.”

The banners will be installed on Cascade, Hood and Main avenues. There is a limit of 80 light poles available throughout Sisters. The sponsor “slice” is a 14-by-24-inch tag attached to the bottom of the banner with the business name and/or logo.

Sponsorships are available for $125 per pole, for the first year, $200 for two years, and $250 for three years for Chamber members. Non-chamber members may purchase the sponsorship banners for $175 for the first year, $250 for two years and $300 for three years.

The multi-year price discount is applicable if paid in full at initial sign-up.

Sponsorship banners will be placed first come, first served, starting on Cascade Avenue.

“The Chamber will try to maintain consistency in the placement of the sponsor banners with subsequent installments following special event banner installments, but can not guarantee exact location,” Mills noted.
