Sisters man arrested on burglary charges

Sheriff’s deputies arrested 18-year-old Austen James Stark of Sisters on Sunday, April 23, on charges that he broke into Crossroads Shell and attempted to break into the nearby Outlaw coffee stand.

According to Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office reports, a citizen saw a man trying to gain access to the window of the espresso stand. He was then allegedly seen near the window of the Shell station.

The sheriff’s office reported that the citizen was able to positively identify the alleged burglar.

Deputies found that a window had been broken out of the Shell station and the alleged burglar had entered the building. Deputies located the suspect’s address and arrested him at his home that night without incident.
