• An elderly man stole the car keys from where his daughter had hidden them and took off for California. He made it as far as the Tollgate tennis courts, where he drifted off the road and high centered his minivan on a pile of gravel.
No one was hurt and the man was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
• A citizen reported a man urinating behind a store, but he had finished and left by the time law enforcement responded.
• A couple involved in a property line dispute with a neighbor reported that the neighbor yelled at their 15-year-old daughter and they are concerned about further trouble.
• Deputies arrested a man for drunk driving and a Lane County arrest warrant.
• A resident reported the theft of $500 worth of rocks. Very special rocks.
• A man reported concerns about a vehicle lurking around as if someone was casing his home.
• Deputies arrested a Sisters man for allegedly breaking into Crossroads Shell (see story, page 1).
