Road crews to pave Sisters streets

Drivers in Sisters will have to keep alert for paving equipment on Sisters street over the next couple of weeks.

A Deschutes County road crew will chip seal streets across the city, following the crack filling that was done in recent days.

The streets to be affected are:

• Trinity Way.

• Hood Avenue from Highway 242 to Pine Street.

• Pine Street from Cascade Avenue north to Barclay Drive.

• Oak Street from Adams Avenue south to Jefferson Avenue.

• Ash Street from Adams Avenue to Main Avenue.

• North Elm Street from Adams Avenue to Cascade Avenue.

• Fir Street from Adams Avenue south to St. Helens Avenue.

• Spruce Street from Cascade Avenue south to St. Helens Avenue.

• North Larch Street from Adams Avenue south to Jefferson Avenue.

• Cedar Street from Main Avenue to Cascade Avenue.

• South Cedar Street from Jefferson Avenue to St. Helens Avenue.

• East Jefferson Avenue from Locust Street to Highway 20.

Drivers are urged to keep an eye out for paving crews and to be prepared to take alternate routes around paving activity.

The project is expected to cost approximately $75,000.
