• Common Threads and Sisters Mercantile are selling 2006 official Quilt Show T-shirts.

• High Desert Hair, located in Town Square, is expanding. The salon will offer enhanced services, including laser hair removal. The expanded space will also allow for a larger variety of beauty supplies.

• The Fly Fisher’s Place will be celebrating 20 years in business with a party on July 15, from 10 a.m. to closing. Sage Fly Rods, Simms, Patagonia, Backcountry Trout and Rumbo will each have representatives present and the day will be filled with prizes, a casting contest and food and drink. • The staff at Fullhart Insurance said good-bye to longtime employee, Carol. She worked for eight-and-a-half years at the agency and she will be missed by clients and colleagues.

• Sisters Athletic Club has expanded its Pro Shop and is offering a variety of summer special programs. Call 549-6878 for more information.

• Cascade Fitness is featuring a session on self-defense for women. Beginning July 15, instructor John Sanders will conduct three separate classes designed to help women effectively deter dangerous situations.
