Tehan joins SOAR board

The SOAR (Sisters Organization for Activities and Recreation) District Board of Directors has appointed Peggy Tehan to fill Board Position #3, vacated by John Bushnell.

She will serve in the position until the May 2007 Special District Board election when the position will be open for any interested person to file for election.

Tehan has been involved with the SOAR Recreation for several years as a budget committee member as well as participating in many programs with her three children.

She is a Certified Public Accountant and brings important skills and experience to the district.

“We are really pleased to have someone with Peggy’s experience on the SOAR Board of Directors and know that the district will benefit from her service,” said Dr. Bonnie Malone, Board President.
