• Doc Holliday’s Western Emporium and Tea & Treasures are for sale. Owners Steve and Barbara Wilson are selling the businesses and the property after 14 years of retail service in Sisters.
• Central Electric Cooperative is planning to upgrade power lines between Sisters and Black Butte Ranch. Plans call for steel poles to replace wood poles. There will be about 5 percent more poles to carry the line.
• Qwest is planning to extend a buried phone line to three private customers along the Metolius River.
• Cork Cellars is hosting a tasting event on Thursday, July 20, featuring bright white and BBQ red wines. Call 549-2675.
• Blah Blah Woof Woof is playing at Sisters Coffee Co. on Friday, July 28, with guest woofer Dennis McGregor.
• Fullhart Insurance welcomes Holly Dehart to the business. Dehart has six years of experience and is looking forward to serving the Sisters community.
