The Sisters duo of Brad Tisdel and Brent Alan, sometimes known as Double Leaner, will take the stage at Café Libri at the Bend Public Library on Thursday, July 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
During this time, regular library services are available. This program is free and open to the public.
Café Libri was created to provide a place to meet and mingle, and enjoy food and friends in a casual environment. Café Libri events are hosted once a month throughout the library district.
Tisdel and Alan have been playing together for 10 years.
"Musically Brent is really solid," said Tisdel of his musical partner. "The added bonus is that Brent is a goofball and there's always an element of surprise when we play together."
Alan and Tisdel play original acoustic music that is honest, fun and heartfelt. Tisdel plays acoustic guitar with Alan lending lead playing on guitar, mandolin, Dobro and banjo. They both sing lead and backing vocals and have been described as "Crosby Stills and Nash meet Simon and Garfunkel with a little bluegrass thrown in for good measure."
At Café Libri they'll be playing original selections from their catalog, trying out some new tunes and throwing in some covers, just to keep things interesting.
