Sisters sheriff's calls...

• A deputy responded to a report that there was a gun found at a location in Sisters. It turned out to be parts from a toy.

• A 25-year-old woman went to jail for violation of a restraining order.

• A reported runaway returned home before being listed as a runaway.

• In a separate incident, a reportedly missing child was found at home. She missed the bus.

• A customer drove off without paying for $10 of gas. Criminal or absent minded?

• Some horses were reported running loose near Sisters Middle School. The owner rounded them up.

• A landowner reported a sick or injured deer. The deer was suffering from malnourishment and was way past helping. The landowner put the deer down.

• A driver reported that someone egged his car.

• A resident requested police investigate a report that the TV was on in his empty house.

It was, but otherwise everything appeared okay.
