Zygmund Joseph Kij

Zygmund Joseph Kij died on November 13. He was 83.

He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, on August 4, 1923. He served 25 years in the U.S. Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He married his wife Harriett in 1968 in Lakewood, California.

He was a cabinet maker and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife; son Marc McEveny of San Diego, California; and daughters Christine Bowser of Medford and Cynthia Miller of Kansas City, Kansas; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
