Girls basketball squad falls to Madras

The girls basketball team suffered a 50-37 loss to Madras on Tuesday, December 12.

The White Buffaloes are a fundamentally sound and quick basketball team who pressured and out-rebounded the Lady Outlaws for the victory.

According to Coach Kevin Cotner, Sisters should have been able to put a check in the win column.

"This was a winnable game for us," said Cotner. "Basketball is a simple game if you rebound the ball, take care of your possessions and execute offensively you usually win ball games, but we didn't do that tonight. We've got all the pieces to the puzzle. We just need to get on the same page and play a consistent game."

Katie Hughes led the Outlaws with 14 points.
