News and Opinion from Sisters, Oregon

Sisters sheriff's calls...

• A man reported that while visiting a friend, the friend attacked him.

The victim only suffered a scrape and said he didn't want to pursue charges - he just wanted the incident documented, including the fact that he didn't fight back.

• There was a non-injury crash at the intersection of Camp Polk Road and Indian Ford Road.

• Must be that time of year:

Deputies arrested a 42-year-old Sisters woman, a 49-year-old Sisters woman and a 26-year-old Sisters man for DUI in separate incidents.

• Someone stole a donkey from a Christmas display at a local coffee stand. Some Christmas spirit that is.

The Sisters community would like to see the donkey freed.

Information in "Sisters sheriff's calls" is taken from log entries and reports of the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.
