• SOAR (Sisters Organization for Activities and Recreation) has a new Web site and online registration service. The new Web site can be found at http://www.sistersrecreation.com.

Information about the SOAR Recreation District is available on the Web site, including information about all of the winter and spring program offerings.

Participants will now be able to register for programs online for most SOAR programs. There is a small fee for this service.

• Cork Cellars is closed through Thursday, January 18 for a wine seminar. They'll open Friday, January 19 for their first tasting event of the year from 5 to 7 p.m.
