After two weeks and six cancelled matches, the boys tennis team finally got back on the courts. The long stretch without competitive play didn't seem to hinder the Outlaws as they defeated Cascade 7-0 in a non-league match.
Sisters' singles players all defeated their opponents in straight sets. Johannes Traut continued his dominance as the No. 1 singles player. Traut defeated Ole Anders 6-1, 6-1. Evan
Sims (No. 2) defeated Diego Gomez 6-4, 6-4. Jordan Wellman (No. 3) defeated Josh Thomson 6-2, 6-2, and Jake Thomas (No. 4) earned a 6-4, 6-2 win over Zach
Periswig.
The No. 1 duo of Tyler Newport and Shyama Ellis defeated Chance Jackson and Zach Edwards in a marathon match. All three sets were very close with scores of 4-6, 7-5 and 7-6.
Dylan Stuwe and Eric McKinley played a perfect match. The duo defeated Jon Aquilar and Ryan Boyd 6-0, 6-0.
Charlie Phillips and Sam Fullhart went three sets at 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 in their victory over Justin Swint and Jared Wheeler.
"The boys were eager to be able to play, and all of them were focused on winning their match," said Coach Boyd Stuwe.
