Sisters business at a glance

• Kokanee Café is now open for the season. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Call 595-6420 for reservations.

• Jen's Garden and Cork Cellars are presenting an Intimate Evening with Eola Winery on Wednesday, May 9. Five courses will be served paired with Eola Hills Winery Wines. The cost is $69 per person. Limited seating is available with reservations required. Call 549-2699 to reserve a space.

• The Together for Children Benefit Auction will be held on Friday, May 4, at the FivePine Conference Center in Sisters. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $30. Call 389-9317 for tickets. Walk-ins are welcome.

• High Desert Gallery is hosting a Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show Poster Preview Party with artist reception and poster signing Saturday, May 12, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Come meet Kathy Deggendorfer, enjoy lively conversation, refreshments and live music by Jacob French.

• Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at El Rancho Grande. Start your dinner with free appetizers and enjoy the live DJ at 7 p.m. The costume party starts at 8 p.m. with first prize being $100 cash for the funniest and best Mexican costume.

• Another Sisters' Cinco de Mayo celebration is going on at El Caporal with live music by DJ Millenium and special carne asada tacos.

• Richard's Produce is opening for the season at noon, Thursday, May 3 with a whole new look and a fresh shipment of produce. Located at 411 Cascade Ave.
