Wuanita (Nita) Quisenberry Sturm of Bend died of natural causes on May 22. She was 88.
She was born in Simpsonville, Kentucky to Henry Thornton Quisenberry and Mary M. Griffith
A service will be held at 3 p.m. on June 2, at Awbrey House Assisted Living.
She married Alois Sturm in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 11, 1951. She was a homemaker. She loved her family, played bingo and card games, enjoyed RV travel and was a wonderful cook. She and her husband relocated to Bend in 2000 to be near their son Hank Fegette.
She is survived by her son William (Hank) Fegette of Sisters; her sister Mildred Horton of Van Nuys, California; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Al, her sister Peggy and her son Felix.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
